Project information
Urbiágua collaborated on the design and construction of the water features at W Algarve hotel, in Albufeira.
At the entrance, the fountain holds the W logo floating on the water, suspended by foaming jets. In the presidential suite, a rooftop suspended pool was built, with an overflowing glazed window developed specifically for this project. The pool also has a control to activate the jets in the seating areas.
In the SPA, two reflecting pools were built with a perimeter neon LED strip, reinforcing the exclusive character of the space. At the centre of the hotel, Urbiágua built a musical fountain that presents a water and light show at specific times of day. During the day, the same fountain produces slower, calmer effects and sequences, without music.
