Interactive fountains include buttons, sensors and mechanisms that change how the fountain runs, actuating or cutting the jets.
Other fountain solutions can also be interactive when they are integrated into these systems: dry fountains, musical fountains, digital water curtain and water play.

A sensor in the paving can actuate a pavement jet. A button panel can make the fountain produce water effects.
