Misting
Atomising the water produces fog: the space cools and changes scene.
Introduction
Misting is characterised by the production of fog through the atomisation of water particles. Urbiágua atomising nozzles have an outlet between 0.2 and 0.3 mm. The water, raised to high pressure, between 70 and 150 bar, vaporises into microparticles of up to 7 μm.
The result is a mist that is felt: the temperature drops by up to 10 ºC. The effect can be tropical, calm or dramatic, according to the scenic result desired and the place of installation. It is included in fountains, squares, public walks and terraces, especially in summer.
What sets them apart
It is a system for controlling and improving temperature and ambient comfort, in hot places. The fine mist draws the climate and the outline of the space, without a classical fountain.
The use of misting effects in fountains also helps to create dramatic and landscape effects. The same water, atomised, passes from comfort to scene.
