Urbiágua worked with Valpaços Town Council on the restoration of the Courthouse fountain. The work covered a new concept and the installation of more efficient equipment.
The fountain is made up of two bowls. One has two waterfalls, with three rows of eight programmable jets. The other is a reflecting pool with a sculpture at the centre. In this pool, in addition to the existing jet in the sculpture, a mist collector was installed to highlight the piece, together with four palm jets at the corners of the bowl.
The programming of these two sets of scenes gives the urban space a livelier, more dynamic atmosphere.
